Terms of Service
The rules for using Wedding Planning Checklist's planning tools, content, exports, and related resources.
- Our tools are free to use for lawful personal planning, education, and permitted professional workflow support.
- Do not scrape, misuse, disrupt, or repackage the platform or its content as your own service.
- Wedding Planning Checklist owns the website, code, design, and editorial content; you keep ownership of your planning data.
- The service is provided as-is, and wedding estimates or recommendations are not guaranteed outcomes.
- Questions about the Terms can be sent to contact@aigotowork.work.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Wedding Planning Checklist, you agree to these Terms of Service and confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wedding Planning Checklist, including the website, planning tools, guides, templates, exports, and related content we make available (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, venue, planning business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" includes both you and that organization.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Services only with appropriate supervision and permission where required by law.
2. Description of Services
Wedding Planning Checklist provides free wedding planning tools and educational content intended to help users organize planning tasks, budgets, vendors, guests, and timelines.
The Services may include, among other things:
- Wedding planning checklists and printable planning views.
- Budget allocation and wedding cost planning tools.
- Vendor tracking and contact organization tools.
- Guest list, RSVP, seating, and related planning interfaces.
- Wedding day timeline and checklist generation tools.
- Blog articles, guides, templates, and other educational resources.
We currently make the core tools available for free. We may add, remove, modify, or reorganize features at any time, including changing how specific tools operate, what export options are available, and whether certain features remain free. We will make reasonable efforts not to change the Services in a way that is misleading, but we do not guarantee that any particular tool or feature will remain available indefinitely.
The Services are designed as planning aids. They provide structure, estimates, and workflow support, but they are not a substitute for professional legal, tax, financial, venue, catering, or wedding planning advice tailored to your specific situation.
3. User Accounts and Local Storage
Most Wedding Planning Checklist tools do not require an account today, and current planning data is generally stored locally in your browser rather than in a hosted account.
At the time these Terms were last updated, Wedding Planning Checklist does not require a live user account for access to the core planning tools. Instead, many tools rely on browser storage to keep your progress available on the device and browser you are using.
That has practical consequences. If you clear site data, use private browsing, switch devices, reset your browser, or uninstall the browser, locally stored planning data may be lost. You are responsible for exporting or otherwise backing up any information you want to preserve. We are not responsible for loss of data that remains only on your device.
If we introduce account-based features in the future, additional rules may apply to account credentials, account security, deletion, suspension, or feature access. Unless and until such a system is actually launched, these Terms should not be read as promising any present cross-device sync, hosted account storage, or password-based access.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use Wedding Planning Checklist for lawful planning and educational purposes, but you may not misuse the service, scrape content, interfere with operations, or repackage the product as your own.
4.1 Permitted Uses
You may use the Services for personal wedding planning, planning on behalf of immediate family, educational purposes, or professional wedding planning work for clients, subject to these Terms.
4.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract content or data using automated means without written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, servers, or related infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the stability, integrity, or performance of the Services.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, harmful scripts, or anything intended to damage the Services or users.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or non-public product logic except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Copy, republish, or mass-distribute our original content, templates, or tools in a way that substitutes for the Services.
- Use the Services to build or market a substantially competing product based on copied content or interface behavior.
- Impersonate Wedding Planning Checklist, its personnel, or another person or entity.
4.3 Professional Use
Wedding planners, coordinators, venue teams, educators, and similar professionals may use the Services as part of their workflow. However, you may not white-label the Services, resell access to them as your own software, remove attribution, or represent Wedding Planning Checklist's tools and content as proprietary material created by you unless you have written permission.
5. Intellectual Property
Wedding Planning Checklist owns the website, branding, code, interface, and original content, while you retain ownership of the planning data you enter into the tools.
5.1 Our Property
The Services, including the site design, layout, code, software behavior, text, graphics, tool logic, branding, and overall presentation, are owned by Wedding Planning Checklist or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms, no license or ownership right is granted to you.
5.2 Your Planning Data
You retain ownership of the content and data you create or enter, such as wedding budgets, guest names, vendor notes, checklist annotations, and timeline details. When that data is stored only in your browser, it remains under your control on that device. If you send any of it to us for support or feedback, you give us a limited license to use, review, store, and process it solely as needed to respond to the request, troubleshoot the issue, or improve the Services.
5.3 Feedback
If you send us suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feedback about the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback for product, editorial, and operational purposes without compensation to you.
6. User-Generated Content
Most planning data is private to your browser, but any content you submit to us directly must be lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and non-infringing.
The current Services do not center on public posting, but users may still submit content to us directly through emails, bug reports, partnership inquiries, attachments, exported files, screenshots, or any future feedback features we make available. By submitting content to us, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not violate any law or any third party's rights.
You agree not to submit content that is defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, obscene, invasive of privacy, or infringing on another person's intellectual property or other rights.
We may remove, ignore, or refuse to use submitted content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe creates legal, operational, or reputational risk.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Third-party links and services are outside Wedding Planning Checklist's control, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, tools, references, social platforms, or service providers. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Wedding Planning Checklist does not control and is not responsible for the availability, content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service.
If you follow a third-party link or use a third-party service connected to your workflow, you do so at your own risk and should review that third party's own terms and privacy practices before providing information.
8. Disclaimers
Wedding Planning Checklist is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, and we do not guarantee that tools, estimates, or content will be error-free or suitable for every wedding.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
Without limiting the above, Wedding Planning Checklist disclaims warranties relating to:
- Accuracy, completeness, or currentness of cost data, timing recommendations, or planning guidance.
- Fitness of the Services for your specific event, region, budget, guest count, legal obligations, or vendor market.
- Uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or freedom from bugs, outages, or harmful components.
- Results obtained from relying on our estimates, calculators, checklists, or educational content.
- Third-party information, vendor websites, or external resources linked from the Site.
Wedding costs, vendor availability, legal requirements, and planning norms vary widely by location, season, and event style. Our tools are meant to help structure decisions, not to serve as binding professional advice. You should independently confirm details that matter to your budget, contracts, guest obligations, or legal compliance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wedding Planning Checklist is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEDLIST PRO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
This includes, without limitation, damages for lost data, lost profits, lost business opportunities, planning delays, vendor disputes, substitute services, or reliance on estimates or planning suggestions provided by the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wedding Planning Checklist's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Wedding Planning Checklist against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or others' rights.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wedding Planning Checklist and its affiliates, officers, directors, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any law or any third party's rights.
- Your submitted content, communications, attachments, or exported material you ask us to review.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate reasonably with our defense of that matter.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time, and we may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the service or enforce these Terms.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Because the current Services do not depend on a live account system for core features, ending use will often simply mean discontinuing access and, if you choose, clearing locally stored browser data.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and with or without notice if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the Services, created security or legal risk, or if we need to modify or discontinue a feature.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law provisions, will survive.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law, and disputes should first be raised with Wedding Planning Checklist in an effort to resolve them informally.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services will be governed by the applicable laws that properly apply to the operation of Wedding Planning Checklist, without regard to conflict-of-law principles to the extent those principles would require the application of another jurisdiction's law.
Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at contact@aigotowork.work and attempt to resolve the issue informally and in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in a court or forum of competent jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires another process.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms over time, and your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be highlighted elsewhere on the Site where appropriate.
By continuing to use the Services after revised Terms become effective, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Services.
